2025 Professional Development Conference

The Shreveport Journalism Foundation and the LSUS student activities program “The Almagest” are hosting a Professional Development Conference on job skills development in the media markets. “The Almagest” is the LSUS student news organization. The event will be held at LSUS on Saturday, April 26 in the Liberal Arts building; Bronson Hall. We have gathered area professionals to interact with college students about what they need to know about employment skills and opportunities after graduation. Registration is open for this event on the Shreveport Journalism website at: http://shreveportjournalismfoundation.com/conference/. Registration is also possible at the event, but an RSVP from participants will help us plan on sufficient seating.
